Why are Monday mornings always a blah morning? I suppose it's because we have to go back to work at whatever job we're doing after having downtime over the weekend. I don't like Monday mornings. Once it gets to the afternoon, and I'm back into the swing of my weekly routine, everything is fine.

Mondays are a state of mind, just like Wednesdays are as the hump days and Fridays as the beginning of the weekend.
Yeah, it's that old thing about it being the start of a new work week. I don't think it will change at all unless the work week changes.
I really think this is a holdover from our school days. We've brainwashed ourselves to think of Monday as bad but it gets us back among normal people (sort of) and we now have an excuse to stop doing things around the house.
The older I get the quicker Monday comes around and the weekend is gone in the blink of an eye. Even more stressing is we are trying to move so its like trying to pack what we can on the weekends and attempt to rest before work starts up again before the big day.

The only times they did not really effect me was when I worked on a rolling rota (so sometimes I would be working the weekend and Monday and have my 'weekend' later in the week) , that way you do not really differentiate the days so much.
