Should have started this sooner!

So this week is half term, and Jaime, Charlie and are all off together!

We are having new windows fitted for three days so a fair bit of disruption there, and I have parts for the Beetle that I need to start fitting ready for the Volksworld Show, as well as new rear tyres,I have been buying parts from the USA and Australia, I've been lucky enough to be askedto recreate the Volksworld Show Advert that has been used in the magazne topromote the show inside the Show Hall's themselves this year, quite a daunting experience especially as the car is not a 'show car'

Good to hear you are all having a nice break together :applause:

Yeah, new windows = noise + mess + disruption although the ending result is good. Make sure they plaster up properly Alex, we had some great windows done but had to keep getting them back to fix the other mess they made :slant:

Good news on the advert too :)

about time too :p , now we just need to get Jaime to post something in her Blog *runs and hides* , just kidding. :)

Thanks Andy!

As the place is rented, we hope we can get the plastering done and then the damage re-decorated by the letting agents.

Funnily enough my parents are looking at getting new windows this year, like you say a consideration re: getting snagging sorted!!

It's DAMN chilly with no winters at this time year!!!!!

Alex.

I can imagine :cold:

Yeah I think it was just bad luck with us, I have some pics (I'll have to take a pic of them as they are "real" pics, no scanner unfortunately!) , the windows are great but they did not plaster it up properly and it all fell to bits

Eventually ( ! ) they got a professional plasterer in to do it properly...

So all sorted but took a few weeks to get it done.

Good plan: Plastering etc then decorating last :D
