Food Seasonings

Posted by yield71, 22 February 2010 · 42 views

Some friends of mine have a habit of adding additional seasonings to their food before beginning their meals. It doesn't matter if the food is already quite tasty to me. They just add their chili or tomato sauce as usual onto the food. I think excessive flavourings will overpower the real taste of the dish and can cause health problems in the long run.

These additions should not be junk ones. Yes. they certainly cause a lot of health problems. Spices do add to the taste but do they promote good health. We cannot say.
There is no worry of health affect if the food seasonings are home prepared. But from the store shelves, using in lesser quantity and occasionally will give the pleasant taste and help to maintain good health.
I for one is chile guy, I love chile and everytime I eat a meal I must have one. I guess it really depends on the person eating it. They just have to separate their seasoning from others. I still don't feel the effects of having chile for my seasoning.
Sometimes it so happens that the side dishes are more tasty than the main ones and this will prompt us to eat them more.
I believe seasonings add a great deal of flavor if they're used properly. There are many herbs such as Rosemary, Basil, etc. that don't overpower the flavor of the food, but add to it, especially if you use organic seasonings.
