Had a headache and a bit insomnia last night. I feel tired and funnily bored. I look at things with the least enthusiasm possible today. Can't help to be apathetic.

That is due to the bad headache which you had. Sometimes the paracetamol tablets which we consume to mitigate the aches will make us dull by mind. It takes a few hours to regain our actual nature.

Headaches are not nice, especially when they are enough to stop you sleeping 
Normally if its a "light" one the sleep seems to get rid of it. I think I'm lucky its rare I get them anyway...

Great sages of the past have recommended a nice solution to these headaches. Once a head ache begins to trouble us the best thing we should do is cut all our thoughts as and when they come into the mind. Continue this for about 10 minutes. The head ache is gone!

I know what you mean about headaches. I get them when I am stressed and don't sleep well. Then, I have a hard time waking up in the morning, and things usually go downhil from there.
