Let there be resolutions for the entire life and not for merely a year. I think after such a long discussion this would apply to nicety. If we can take resolutions for life, many problems stand answered.

With changing life styles, I doubt we cannot call it as a resolution. If its going to be for a lifetime than I think it should be called as ambition or determination.

I just feel that to make an annual New Year's Resolution that you are going to have difficulty keeping is both foolish, and potentially disheartening when your lofty goals lead to an eventual failure.

You should instead focus on making one small change at a time, before worrying about moving on to the bigger and bigger changes to your life.

AS much as possible I should strive to make the people around me very happy indeed. I should not owe much to others in terms of money. I want to help others on the other hand.

Helping others is a great idea and one should do it whenever gets a chance. Regarding with new years resolution as mentioned by another member, one should not hesitate to change is goal from one point to another point and should keep moving on until bigger things are achieved.

Also that since there are another 9 months to go we have newer resolutions added in the year and I do not feel any thing wrong with it. The objective is of course to complete them by the end of the year.

Why not let we have a monthly resolution to accomplish. By that way we can easily reach our years goal. Its like segregating the workload into parts and ultimately finishing the task on hand.

Yeah, that is a good idea and I was trying to say only that. I could tell that in a round about way where as naturelover got the point in one stroke!

Thanks for your compliment, Mr. prasanth5. I just put my idea of segregation of works which is much practiced in organizations to get things done in a fast and timely manner.

Man is himself an organization and he should work like an organization. Meticulous actions are needed at all levels if a certain degree of success is hoped at all.
