Vacuum Hoses

What goes where on later T1 models

Posted by Andy on Jul 01 2007 01:15 PM
There seems to be a bit of confusion sometimes with vacuum hose locations on later models.

I have two pictures to explain how to fit them properly as it can be a source of confusion sometimes. :)

GREEN , Carb vacuum hose
BLUE , Carb to Airbox control valve hose
RED , Airbox control valve to hot / cold intake flap valve

Its also important that the vacuum hose between the carburettor and distributor has a metal pipe in it high up to prevent any chance of fuel being syphoned into the vacuum unit.

:)
